TriCounty Community Network (TCN) is a grassroots nonprofit organization that facilitates partnerships among businesses, nonprofits and community members. We keep abreast of the current issues impacting southern Berks, northern Chester and western Montgomery counties and move forward with specific and impactful programs and projects. The TriCounty Community Network (TCN) is a catalyst for change… a link where community providers, agencies and businesses can turn for collaborative solutions to problems; a vehicle to help community members identify important resources; a connection to vital community services. Our 5 year strategic goals include: Provide comprehensive information and referral service to the tricounty communities Provide forums for an exchange of information and resources specific to health, social and environmental issues Diversify membership to include more for-profit businesses committed to the tricounty communities of eastern Berks, northern Chester and western Montgomery counties Diversify our Board of Directors to represent health, environment and social sectors Establish a speaker’s bureau for programs and projects

PEAK also oversees the state-funded PA Pre-K Counts program which is a free full-day instructional program for area 3 and 4 year olds. The goals of PEAK are: 1) Every three and four year old child has access to high quality child care, early childhood education, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. 2) Every parent of young children has access to the high quality skill building and resources needed to prepare them to be their child's first "teacher" and to prepare their children for success in school. 3) Every child has access to health and wellness services to ensure that they are prepared to maximize their potential in school. |
